By bonding your print to a high-density wood substrate and sealing it with a specialized protective laminate, we create a finished piece that is both elegant and incredibly resilient. No glass, no frame—just a clean, beveled edge that puts all the focus on your work.
Technical Workflow
- High-Pressure Thermal Bonding
Your print is mounted onto a 3/8" (9mm) high-density MDF (Medium Density Fiberboard) using a professional dry-mounting process. This creates a permanent, flat bond that prevents any warping or bubbling, ensuring the structural integrity of the piece for decades. - UV-Protective Satin Lamination
Unlike traditional framing, we protect the surface with a premium UV-filtering laminate. This non-reflective coating shields your print from fingerprints, dust, and moisture while significantly reducing the risk of fading from sunlight exposure. - Signature Beveled Edging
The hallmark of a BLITZ plaque mount is the finished edge. Each board is machine-beveled at a precise angle and finished with a durable foil or paint. This creates a built-in "frame" effect that provides a clean, professional transition from the artwork to the wall.

Care & Handling
Plaque mounts are designed for durability. To maintain the surface, simply wipe with a soft, damp microfiber cloth. Because there is no glass, you don't have to worry about breakage or heavy reflections. It is the ideal choice for schools, hospitals, offices, and high-traffic gallery hallways.
Ordering Information
- File Resolution: We recommend 300 DPI for the sharpest results, especially for text-heavy items like certificates or awards.
- Edge Color: Please specify your preferred edge color in the order notes (Default is Classic Black).
- Turnaround: Due to the multi-stage bonding and curing process, please allow 5-7 business days for production.
