About this product
Giclée Photo Prints use pigment-based ink on photographic and fine art papers selected for tonal range, surface character and image detail. Each paper responds differently to density, contrast and reflected light, allowing the print surface to be matched to the image rather than treated as a neutral carrier.
Matte papers reduce glare and give the image a softer visual character. Lustre balances surface sheen with practical handling, while gloss and baryta papers provide greater apparent contrast, black density and edge definition. Paper choice should be considered alongside the image content and final display lighting.
Suitable for photography, digital illustration and editioned artwork. Prints are produced to the selected dimensions and trimmed after output; full-bleed or bordered presentation follows the options selected when ordering.

Paper Selection Guide
Photo Matte — Epson® Enhanced Matte (250gsm): A smooth, non-reflective surface for illustration, graphic work and photographs viewed under direct lighting. Blacks appear softer than on gloss or baryta papers.
Photo Satin — Epson® Premium Luster Photo (260gsm): A fine lustre texture with controlled sheen. It balances colour density with lower reflection than a full-gloss surface and suits general photographic printing.
Photo Gloss — Epson® Premium Photo Glossy (250gsm): A high-gloss resin-coated surface for saturated colour, crisp detail and strong contrast. Reflections and fingerprints are more visible than on matte or satin papers.
Canson® Infinity Baryta Photographique II (310gsm): A baryta-coated paper with a fine satin surface and the visual character of fibre-based darkroom paper. It is well suited to monochrome work, portraits and images that rely on dark tonal separation.
Canson® Infinity Platine Fibre Rag (310gsm): A 100% cotton paper with a smooth baryta surface and no optical brightening agents. It combines a substantial paper feel with defined detail and a restrained sheen.
Hahnemühle® Photo Rag Baryta (315gsm): A cotton paper with a high-gloss baryta coating and a bright white tone. It suits detailed colour and black-and-white photographs where surface depth and black density are important.
Printing and Finishing
Print Method: Pigment inkjet printing with paper-specific output settings and colour management.
Inspection and Trim: Each print is checked and trimmed individually before packing.
Borders: Orders are produced to the full dimensions selected in the calculator. If a white border is required, include it inside the supplied file and select the overall size including that border.
Colour Expectations: Paper white, surface texture and screen calibration affect the final appearance. For colour-critical work, arrange a test strip before the full order.

Accepted Files: PDF, JPG and PNG up to 50 MB through the product form. For files over 50 MB, email a download link to info@blitzprinthouse.com with your order number.

Colour Profiles: Embed the Adobe RGB (1998) colour profile in the supplied file.
