About this product

Sintra Mounts bond a print to expanded PVC sheet, producing a lightweight, rigid panel with a clean, unframed edge. The denser board profile provides more handling resistance than standard foamcore while remaining relatively easy to install.

Expanded PVC resists moisture and routine handling more effectively than paper-faced foam board. It is suited to indoor exhibitions, retail displays, signage and contemporary wall presentation where a thin, rigid support is required.

Available in 3 mm and 6 mm thicknesses with white or black cores. The board is a rigid display substrate rather than glazing, so surface durability remains dependent on the selected print paper and protective finish.

Print Surface Options

Photo Matte: Epson® Enhanced Matte (250gsm), with a smooth, non-reflective surface.

Photo Satin: Epson® Premium Luster Photo (260gsm), with a fine lustre texture and controlled sheen.

Watercolour Textured: Epson® Cold Press Bright (310gsm), with a visible cold-press texture and bright-white tone.

Watercolour Smooth: Epson® Hot Press Natural (310gsm), with a smoother matte surface and natural-white tone.

Mounting and Use

Panel: The print is mounted to rigid expanded-PVC board. If a specific 3mm or 6mm thickness is required, confirm it with the studio before production.

Core Colour: White and black panels are available subject to the selected thickness and current stock.

Mounting Method: A pressure-sensitive cold-mount process bonds the print without heat. The panel is machine cut and checked individually.

Handling: Sintra is more resistant to moisture, dents and repeated handling than foamcore, making it suitable for indoor exhibitions, retail displays and signage.

Environment: Standard production is intended for indoor use. Exterior display or prolonged exposure to heat, sunlight or moisture requires a separate material review.

Wall Display: A concealed mounting block or cleat can be quoted separately for a floating presentation approximately 3/4 inch from the wall.

Oversized Work: Panels are packed flat. Studio pickup is recommended for large sizes to reduce transit handling.

File and Production Standards

Accepted Files: PDF, JPG and PNG up to 50 MB through the product form. For files over 50 MB, email a download link to info@blitzprinthouse.com with your order number.

Resolution: Minimum 150 dpi at final print size.

Colour Profiles: Embed the Adobe RGB (1998) colour profile in the supplied file.

Borders: Include any required white border inside the supplied file and select the overall finished size.

Production Time: Typically 3–5 business days before shipping or pickup. Transit time is additional.
