About this product
Acrylic Face Mounts combine a photographic print with clear acrylic bonded directly to the image surface and a rigid backing panel. The layered construction produces a clean, frameless object with substantial visual depth.
Direct bonding removes the air gap normally found behind glazing, increasing perceived contrast, sharpness and surface gloss. The format is well suited to high-detail photography, saturated colour and contemporary presentation, although reflections are more visible than on matte surfaces.
Each mount is produced to the selected dimensions and fitted with a concealed support system for wall installation. Acrylic can scratch more easily than glass and should be handled with clean hands and non-abrasive materials.

Material and Construction
Print Surface: Canson® Infinity Platine Fibre Rag (310gsm) is the print medium currently offered by the online calculator. Its smooth baryta surface produces a clean, detailed image beneath the acrylic.
Acrylic Thickness: Available builds use 1/8-inch (3mm) or 1/4-inch (6mm) clear cast acrylic. Confirm the required thickness with the studio before production.
Face Mount: The print is bonded behind clear acrylic with optically clear face-mount adhesive.
Edges: Acrylic edges are machine cut and diamond polished for a clean, transparent finish.
Backing: A rigid aluminium-composite backing supports the mounted print and helps the finished panel remain flat.
Wall Mount: A concealed aluminium or wood sub-frame holds the panel approximately 3/4 inch away from the wall and is supplied with installation hardware.
Lighting: The acrylic face is reflective. Positioning relative to windows and spotlights should be considered before installation.
Care and Handling
Cleaning: Use a clean microfibre cloth with an ammonia-free, acrylic-safe cleaner. Do not use paper towels, abrasive cloths or ammonia-based glass cleaner.
Handling: Lift the work by the edges or backing and avoid pressure on the acrylic face. Keep the panel away from sustained heat and direct contact with moisture.
